Course Outline
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the new formal qualification for those wishingto work as a trainer/assessor at; TAFE, private training organisations, arange of various industry contexts or as independent contractorsdelivering/assessing nationally recognised vocational education throughout Australia.This course is mandatory for any individual who wishes to work for aRegistered Training Organisation (RTO) as a trainer or assessor and who doesnot hold the BSZ40198.

Recognition of Prior Learning
We welcome students to apply forRecognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
RPL involves the assessment of previouslyunrecognised skills and knowledge an individual has achieved outside theformal education and training system. All assessments for RPL are conductedand reviewed by our qualified staff. The RPL process must be undertaken priorto course commencement.

Duration
The course is run over three phases with approx 3 to 4 weeks between. There are 15 face-to-face delivery days in total. Each phase is 5 days in duration. Homework is given each night the student attends class and there is some assignment work to be completed in between the phases.
Assessment
Delivery and assessment may include:
Formal classroom training, workplace training, flexible delivery, self paced delivery (Correspondence), RPL, or remote delivery depending upon participant circumstances and needs and the availability of resources to deliver in a particular manner. A minimum of eight participants is required for work-based delivery. All assessments for RPL are conducted and reviewed by our qualified staff. The RPL process must be undertaken prior to course commencement.

Cost
$2700 per student. A $200 deposit is required upon enrolment to secure a course placement. The remaining course fee is to be paid in full 3 weeks prior to course commencement. Course fee is fully refundable only if course is cancelled. This price includes all Study Manuals and materials.
